At A Loss.

What do I write about when I don't feel like writing? Should I be optimistic and think of all the wonderful things happening in my life as of now? Or should I make a list of all the things I need to complete. My high school English teacher didn't care for the word "things" so, let's start that over. Should I make a list of... "chores" that needs to be completed? I don't consider them to be chores per se. I'm at a loss for words. Let's see, there's chores, responsibilities, "to-do items". What else? How can I not think of any word?? And to say that the thesaurus was my best friend in college. Boo hiss!

'Till Later.

The Hippie and the Cynic

Going through some of my older posts and laughing at the tone of my writing. I admire the fact that I was so optimistic and positive. How could I not be? If I didn't want to deal with a person or situation, I didn't. Ahh, the days. No responsibilities. Well, except for getting that 12 page paper finished by the end of the week and making sure all cookies were bought for deserving teachers, that is. But besides that, nothing. It's easy to be carefree when not a single person depends on you. Not even yourself.
How did life get so hard, anyway?

A First For Everything.

Well, what do y'a know! My first post of the New Year! About 3 months in, that is.
Better late than never.
Is this post going to be about nothing but cliche sayings?
Possibly.
Any who. As of right now, I feel inspired.
Every other week or so I feel inspired. I make my to-do lists, see them through for about a few days and then, somewhere down the line, I lose myself. I get caught up in my fears, my anxiety, and then the doubt sinks in. It eats away at me. I lose every single ounce of motivation and fall into the same routine that got me... here.
Well, enough is enough. I'm tired of worrying about the same things that have worried me 8 years ago. I'm tired of losing sleep over things that I've lost sleep over last year.
This ends now. If it doesn't, I'll be writing this exactly blog post 4 years from now.
