Capitalize On Your Assets.

Wow! 2010 has finally come to an end. I don't even know how many times I've blogged on here. The reasons were either, "not enough time" or I was far too happy/sad to grab my racing thoughts and put them on here. "LESS is MORE." That's what my father tells me and that's what I'm going to do with this blog entry.

This year, I think I've truly come to love myself for who I am. It's rather funny because I was just a bunch of random emotions this year; questioning who I was, what I wanted, who my true friends were. I'd be lying if I said it's all clear to me now, but I think that this past year of random and spontaneous mistakes, trials, achievements, -> EXPERIENCES have made me stronger. I have made some of my stupidest errors and some of my greatest achievements in 2010. I've experienced what it is like to be myself and be completely comfortable about it; YET! Still be accepted and LIKED because of my dorkiness. I experienced what it was like to be with a true gentleman and have him treat me like I was a true lady. I experienced what it was like to walk away from "date" and be fully and completely, 100% proud of myself and the events that happened; regret NOT! All of these being FIRSTS! However, like many things in life, I had a little help. The wonderful people I've met this past Fall semester, were amazing. I can't say that I'll never forget them but I'll cherish the memories for as long as I can! (Especially a few who I plan on bringing with me into this new year. :) And for those who I plan on leaving in the past, I am not bitter towards anyone! I have the same heart, just a new beat.
My words for you, with joy-filled-tears in my eyes, thanks for everything. <(^o^)>

May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art - write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.
